Correa Lying Olympics

Man, I'm not saying Correa is lying.

But I don't believe him.

I don’t believe it for one second! He’s lying about a sex injury. Or at least that is what my mind drifts to...

So the team has massage therapists available at Correa's disposal but instead he hired one to come to his house a few hours before he was due at the ballpark? Hmmm.

That's one theory. The DAT endorsed resolution of the investigation might be a slip in the shower. Fortunately Miss Wrecks-us was near by to help him up.

Jeff Luhnow heaped praise on Jose Urquidy today.

"He's becoming a name that we're increasingly talking about ... He's a guy that we're starting to talk about if we need a starter later on this summer, he could be a guy we look at."

The guy apparently throws as hard as Corbaw now post-Tommy John but has always been a much better "pitcher." Urquidy has dominated in Corpus and RR so far this year. I read where he grades 60 change up and 60 command. If so, he might be a lot more than just trade bait.

Oh, and he's Mexican so I bet Luhnow and the marketing team are both excited about that.

I'm about done with Correa's shite. Hes 24 years old and dealing with Chronic injuries. I'm at the point where we can enjoy whatever contributions he gives us when his fragile arse is in the lineup, expect him to miss a month or two per season and cut him loose when the time comes.

You're talking about a guy that's 24 and was key in delivering Houston its first WS.

Excellent. So he was great when he was playing. Also missed a considerable amount of time that season with an injury. And the next season. And the next season.

Correa has made himself affordable, and if not, easy to let him walk away

162 game season...and he played when it counted and Houston got a WS. The injuries have been frustrating, but he's about 2-3 yrs from his prime and he's an electric player when healthy...I'd take the financial risk, which you can use the injuries to tamp down.
