Correa keeps this up, the Astros may be able to afford him when it comes time.

An annual tradition

How many years in a row now? All of them right?

If he thinks he deserves a certain annual salary then he better prove he can play for the whole year, which he hasn’t. Thing that gets me is how mysterious this is. Usually something like this is attributable to something. Didn’t look like anything was wrong with him playing around with the bobble head in the dugout in his off day..

You may be on to something.

How this team has taken back to back series against the Red Sox and Cubs when they have half their lineup playing is crazy.

Yuli swinging the bat pretty well is helping, but it's kind of like everyone is helping out just a little bit

That sounds like a pissed off GM.

You knew when and how Hinch broke the news yesterday that some bullshite happened. I wonder what lie Correa will tell the media about it.

I have a couple of solutions to pose for correa’s weak core issues.

1) The organization should make it mandatory for correa to wear a quarterback rib protector once he leaves the stadium after ballgames in order to withstand the rigors of wrestling with Ms. Texas.

2) They dock his pay for an away from the ballpark incident. Then, they use the money to do a liposuction procedure on white and inject some of the excess fat into correa’s soft middle.

3) The Astros send him on an “extended” minor league assignment once he’s healthy to remind him what a privilege it is to be at the major league level.

Another Alou or Kent situation.

3 of the big 5 gone for who knows how long. I bet we don’t see Springer until after the all star break. Altuve has apparently aggravated the other leg. Two more weeks at least?

We’re doing well without them but I just don’t see how that holds up for long.

The bright side is the schedule softens up quite a bit in June. But we won't see Altuve for another 4 weeks, Correa for another 4-6 weeks and Springer like you said until around the ASG.

But they will hold Alvarez and Tucker down for service time savings all the same.

The broken rib will make poles that much more intense and grueling.

I never thought we were ever going to pay Correa $30 million per year but now I know we won't.

Luhnow better keep Abraham Toro so we have a 3B when Bregs moves to SS.

Fortunately toro is looking the part at corpus but yeah we need to start getting prepared for life after Correa.

I'm travelling back to Texas to visit family (I live in England). Got tickets to the 6-7 August games vs the Rockies...let's take a guess at who is playing in that game out of Springer, Altuve and Correa? hah
