When Bauer was at UCLA, he would do some summer workouts at this place called the Texas Baseball Ranch out in Montgomery, TX ( Funny enough, Brent Strom instructed there between jobs). A couple of teammates and I were in HS at Tomball and went there too. We started calling him the Librarian, he was such a fricking goober
