So after all the highs and lows that come with the first month of the season our stros end up 20-10 with a 2.5 game lead over the second place mariners. Heck of a start

20 - 10 is a solid record but not spectacular given the weak schedule. MAY will tell the tale. I'm not Buying into marwin and Reddick having Career years again. Marwin needs to. Go back the utility role where he shines. Find a way to 86 Gattis next month... Call up Tucker in June and maybe white or Davis for dh.

Don’t look now, but Stanton just struck out again.

Agree 100%

He played 134 games last year

He’s played 28/30 this year

Needs to go back to playing 4-5 times a week rather than 6-7

Through some quick stat finding...

Astros(key players) vs Montgomery:

Altuve: 1 for 6, .333 OPS
Bregman: 0 for 4
Correa: 4 for 6, 1.833 OPS
Springer: 1 for 6, .500 OPS

Team: 12 for 42, .866 OPS, 10 K's

Small sample size for stats, but something to build off none the less. Love to see Correa sees it well off Montgomery. It's been since 4/20 he hit his last HR so maybe he gets back on the trot tonight!

Geaux Stros!!

The cycle of lovable team to hatable is in motion. We don’t have a great heel so they are going with the “they cheat” model

Remember when they claimed all sorts of crazy stuff against the Monstars until Jordan and Bugs beat them?

They hate us 'cause they ain't us.

Bauer is an idiot. He's a very good pitcher but his own teammates can't stand him
