Dana says they expect LMJ back in early July... Predictions for the actual return?

LMJ will only have 3 more starts as an Astros SP.

Milwaukee “is open to moving virtually any player on its roster.”

Corbin Burnes, the 2021 NL Cy Young Award winner, is among the Brewers’ most valuable trade chips. With one year of team control left, Milwaukee could shop him to avoid the risk of losing him for nothing in free agency next offseason. He’s an attractive alternative for clubs that need starting pitching but would rather not sign one of this year’s top free-agent arms to a nine-figure deal.

Might they accept an aged bottle of 50 Cent's champagne, a few seats from the Astrodome, Orbits ATV and some leftover Halloween candy?

Best we can do

I'd throw in Jon Singleton and Owlie's hair piece.

Damn shame he wasn’t slugging against the Rangers or we probably would have another WS win.

Makes him being a bag of dicks in the playoffs that much worse

Tucker showed his Silver Slugger ability in the playoffs, especially against Texas.

His post season was a disaster.

But the Astros do not make the post season without Tucker.

I expect him to be a deadline trade for some prospects.

Not likely with 2 years of control

He will be an Astro for 2 years

I think this is most likely.

But I’ve heard rumblings that he is ready to be out of Houston.

He plays like he’s ready to be out of baseball, or battling personal demons

Regardless, he’s an Astro for 2 more years, playing for his contract elsewhere

A normal person would be motivated to increase their value

Guess we will see soon if this is true. I surely hope it is!

Good for Espada #1. He waited it out and now looks like he's getting the chance to coach the Astros. Good for him. Great hire IMO #2. Think he will do a great job and will be light years better than FODB.

My only hesitation is maybe they need a new voice in the clubhouse, we’ll see I guess

I’m just glad it’s Espada since there was smoke Dana was pushing for it. Maybe that was BS, but I’m gonna choose to think this means Dana has some actual decision making power.

Hooray for Joe!

Also, Oof… rough meeting for many attendees apparently.

From the article…

“The annual Major League Baseball GM meetings were cut a half-day short when more than 10% of the executives became ill with what originally believed to food poisoning, but was likely a stomach virus going around.

There wasn’t a single team that didn’t have at least one executive spending at least 24 hours battling diarrhea, stomach pain, nausea and vomiting.”
