Tuve would have to be willing to add years onto his deal, which seems unlikely considering the pay day he is due to get in 2 years

think of it this way. first three years of their career, players have absolutely no negotiating power. the next three years, they can negotiate with only the team they are on. then after that its open season

I would rather keep him as the new Musgrove out of the bullpen and to have depth in case of injuries.
