Personally I have trouble believing that Whitley is included with how protective of prospects Luhnow is he would give up a guy that the metrics and old school guys love for a guy we don’t HAVE to have.

I know what you mean and I’d be alright with Tucker but I think Whitley is the future #1 of this rotation After 2 seasons we don’t have Keuchel, Verlander, or a potential Cole left in our rotation. If we want this window for the Astros to be 5+ years I’m of the opinion Whitley is a big part of that

if we pull this off and keep Whitley and Tucker I'll be ecstatic. Losing Tucker would be a concern but losing Whitley would be way worse

No chance Fisher would headline the package though
More likely Fisher and Tucker if I had to guess which would kill OF depth but I’d still be alright with it
I know I sound hypocritical AF with my recent posts about keeping Whitley but I’ve been trying to work on not overvaluing prospects the last year or 2

I still would be surprised if the Astros trade Whitley or Tucker. Any deal for a starter would almost have to include Fisher and Martes, at least, I would think. Maybe Alvarez, too?
That was from earlier today.
The more I think about it, Tucker has been untouchable for the past year from Luhnow and I just dont see why that would have changed in the last month or so.
Luhnow does not trade his stud, cant-miss prospects. We saw that with Bregman when it came to Chris Sale. Cole is no Sale.
I will be shocked if Tucker is included and if he is, Ill step back and try to assume that Luhnow knows something we don't.

Pirates have plenty of OF depth so I don’t think they would want both Fisher and Tucker, instead a IF in place of Fisher. Let’s get some guesses on this package, here’s mine
