If Verlander fricks it up again tonight he may not be welcome back in town. Momentum has swung back to Houston and it needs to be taken advantage of.
Tonight's motto needs to be don't frick it up.

Everyone is talking about the pitching and rightfully so. Bregs took an 0-2, 101 mph fastball and lined into the corner for a two run double. huge hit.
Let the bat do the work instead of trying to be a hero. Some other stars on this roster could take note

There's already enough emotion in the World Series, this has to increase that x1000. The kid was cold as ice last night.

Anyone on here have a good follow on Twitter for the Astros?
The guys I found to follow cry too much. Just want the info not the whining lol

Yup. Astros win the next two and y’all get another couple years of Dusty. Unless he retires.
Hopefully he realizes the stress of the position and how he has to wear surgical gloves everyday and decides to hang it up with his ring.
Click stays albeit with a strategy that fits Houston and not Tampa as much and the dynasty moves on.

Preach. One of the negatives of analytics is that they have caused many players to abandon this approach. Quite often this approach creates winning baseball.

At this point, I would DH Yordan, move Chas to LF, and put Dubon in CF.
Dubon can't be any worse than what the other bums have been doing... right?
I can't believe I am saying this... but Dubon can't be worse than the Mancini/Diaz combo.
That said, Chas is a better centerfielder and Hensley should really be the guy in LF/DH rotation with Yed for now.
ETA: Or declare Lance to be injured and activate Yainer at DH.

I remember the days of the DAT mainly focused on minor league games and wondering if Chris Carter flipped the switch and all his strikeouts of the past won’t come back again.
Times have changed.

Anal fissures.
The promise of Jordan Lyles.
JR Towles record RBI night.
The excitement of Miguel Tejada.
Times have changed.

Also, we really don’t give enough credit to baseball players. That last ground ball to Bregman was not the easiest ball to field. It took a pretty hard hop, but he made it look routine.
Go back and watch Yulis RBI single, he hit it off the ground and drove in a run with 2 strikes. Unreal

I'm so damn confused because of the rain delay. Is today's game in Philly again? I saw others posting last night and it made me think Houston, but then why would tomorrow be a "travel" day.
Surely it's in Philadelphia?

Had some suspect search history because of that day

Weren't you struggling with this last night too?
The delay just pushed everything back a day including the off day. Tomorrow is a travel day then back in Houston Saturday Sunday

I miss El Caballo. Can he come back and DH?

3 pages in and no trolls in sight. They’ve shown their true colors and have no balls to take what they’re dishing out. Have no fear though. I’m sure they will be lurking the DAT all night praying for a Phillies win and the chance to talk shite again. It’s a tale as old as time for the Astros haters.

Nobody should doubt Bregman's ability
His problem is trying to balance contact with power to keep his value come contract time
He is definitely guilty of being selfish during the regular season, attempting to pull, because he does not have off field HR power
He is a professional hitter when he wants to be
