This team has actually been a fraud with RISP against good pitching for most of the season. Let's not pretend otherwise. If they shite the bed Thursday, they deserve their fate. Can't really get mad about it.

Glasnow is not a bad matchup for this lineup. But they can't dick around and watch themselves into bad hitters counts.
Again, I don't mind Yed's at bat against a stud left there because he was always going to get one chance to do damage. It came early in the count, and he just missed sending the ball into the Gulf.

There are some positives to take out of this game.
Our bullpen didn’t allow a run
We made them work for it at the end. The top of our lineup has seen their best relievers so over exposure is very possible.
Springer is coming around.
