Right? He should be batting cleanup against the Astros with all the damage he's done against them this year.
On the year he has hit .213 with a .704 OPS
Against the Astros he has hit .314 with a .948 OPS

I certainly cannot see his value if they aren't even willing to put him in the field.
Diaz can give as good at-bats or better than Reddick can.

You can't even pinch hit for Reddick now w/o losing the DH
At least it won't really matter w McCullers starting.
Not sure why anyone would get excited about that. Even if he pitches well, he never gets run support.
Seems like you would want to throw the arm that you might intend using again at the earliest possible point in the series if needed.

They can pinch hit for him they just can’t move Reddick into the field, which is basically the only small value he provides to this team. Diaz should absolutely be DHing today

You can pinch hit DH for DH. Reddick can't move to RF though, unless they want the pitcher to enter the lineup in place of whomever Reddick replaces.

I wonder if Reddick hurt something in the Game 2 vs. Minnesota. Straw replacing him in the 9th inning for defense seemed odd at the time
