I'm wondering everyone's opinion....Will FODB be back next year? I'm not asking what you want, I'm asking what do you think will happen?

If this series continues the way it has gone so far, don't see how it's possible

Nothing about my sports fandom has seemingly gone according to what makes sense...so he'll probably be awarded a lifetime contract

My days of being overly invested in sports are behind me. Don’t get me wrong, I want my teams to win all the time. I just don’t allow it to ruin my day and make me miserable if they don’t.

We need Greinke/Javier to give us some combination of 6 innings

I think 5 is probably as good as it's gonna get. 2 from CK and 3 from Javier. That would get you to Maton, Stanek, Graveman, Pressly. Taylor threw less pitches than Raley and Yimi. I'd think he's available too.

It's really not as dire as we're making it sound. At least as availability goes. More about them not sucking for once

Astros win with ease tonight. And then win the next two. Book it.

We’re gonna have to score 7 to win tonight. It all depends on pevetta. If they get after him early and knock him out in the fourth then they have a shot. If they look lost and lifeless like the last two games then Sox will roll. I don’t know why dusty hasn’t switched around the lineup. Brantley and yed need to move down. Tucker and Carlos need to move up. I’d go:

Altuve
Tucker
Bregs
Correa
Yed
Yuli
Brantley
Chas
Nachos

That happened with me in '18 w LSU. It had been coming, but I finally gave up the season tickets.

I went to all the important games in '19, and that season really brought me some peace in my fandom

'17 with the Astros was cathartic. Promised my wife I wouldn't let it affect me as much from then on.

But all of the championship runs over the last 5 seasons had me at hello, b/c I understand that these kind of runs don't last, and just like '19 LSU, likely will never happen again.

I do think the Astros have the resources right now to continue with some success going forward in the near future

No, he won't be. Especially if this series continues on the current trajectory.

This is all a moo point if we don't score more than 5 runs. We need to be the ones putting up big numbers early to take some pressure off of the pitchers.
