Chas is really good against lefties and brings better defense to a flyball pitcher.

But i damn sure trust Uncle Mike to get us a better at bat when we need it.

I’m also going to assume the roof was closed in all of the games the Astros have produced a 7-1 record there

So I’m sure the Rangers are looking for anything different

Much like the Astros would be at home, where they suck

I just can’t stand the inconsistency

Checking in. How is everyone feeling about tonight? I feel cautiously positive.

I launched a nuke (for me) on Astros ML so I’m feeling pretty confident at least when I made the bet.

Eh? I’d say the “until he isn’t” has already arrived. He has been one of the worst starting pitchers in the majors since the ASB

He made 14 starts after the All Star game. In 13 of those 14 starts, he threw 69 innings with 45 earned runs for a 5.86 ERA - that would be the second-worst mark for a qualified starter over the full season, ahead of only Jordan Lyles' 6.28 ERA.

But what’s wild is that one other start was a no hitter

Just because I’m superstitious (not just a little stitious). Here’s Jobu!

Nervously optimistic. Think we win tonight though. Urquidy has another decent start.

And in case Jobu isn’t good enough. Here is Bones from my cousin’s house in the Heights! She loves Halloween and the Astros!

Feeling like Urquidy gives us 5+ with 2 or 3 runs. Offense does their thing and we even the series up.

Dusty Baker said the Astros were told before the series moved to Arlington that there was an “agreement” that the roof in both team’s ballparks would be closed for the entire ALCS. He did not elaborate on who exactly the agreement was between.

That’s bullshite if true

Baseball gods should be taking notice

Before the game I would like to wish the Astros good luck. May the best team win.

I'd rather see someone with a good approach at the plate than swinging like mad and being an easy K.

Chas has been taking Springer-like donkey hacks the last few games.

The only Astro who has ever been allowed to take Springer-like donkey hacks is Springer because you knew that eventually he was going to get right and go on a GOAT tear.

I don't think Chas has that in him.
