I'm not up to date on the challenge system, but can someone answer why it would be an out simply for touching the glove? Say the player hasn't closed the glove, secured the throw, by the time the batter has reached the bag.

Yeah, he was terrible. Remade it swing in the off-season before we released him and turned into one of the better hitters of the last 5 years or so

Yeah, just a flat out release. Obviously the guy is talented. They should have seen some flashes that told them they should keep him in the system. Just crazy. Unless there were other issues.

They did.
He couldn't hit for shite while he was in Houston.
He apparently went to some hitting gurus in California and then played the off season in Venezuela.
When he came back he asked Lunhow to just give him a chance to show him his new swing. Lunhow said "nah"
