Stanford vs LSU, 2000 CWS Champ game. Stanford had two great pitchers, Jason Young and Justin Wayne. Young threw the first four innings and gave up 2 runs. Was plenty fine but replaced by Wayne in the 5th. Pitched well but gave up 3 in the 8th and the walk off single in the 9th.
Coaches have been outsmarting themselves for a long time.
