Phil Maton sustained an off field injury? Is this like the guy who threw out his back sneezing? Which is more believable the older I get

I just heard that he broke a finger punching his locker after his last outing.

Glad to see Hensley and Jake made the cut. I'm having strangely positive vibes about the Playoffs. I must have COVID again.

Prefer Brown to Maton in that role anyway. On a positive note, it takes away a piece of the puzzle from Dusty to screw up.

Think Smith was left off since Seattle doesn’t have any big lefty bats? He or Martinez could take Dubons spot next series

Dubon not starting at CF is all that matters to me at this point. Love having Diaz, Vasquez and Hensley as DH options off bench

Let’s ride baws

Yeah Dubon playing behind Verlander was one of my main concerns with Dusty. That plus No Smith or Maton means there’s very little for Dusty to screw up IMO

Go check out The Stag's Head. Probably won't be showing the games, but it's a beautiful pub.

From McTaggart:

quote:

Dusty on not having any lefties in his ALDS bullpen: "If you followed me those first three or four months, I was always calling for a left-hander or two, you know, and still calling for 'em."

Dipshit would rather have a lefty who sucks than have the best 7 or 8 guys in the pen. fricking fossil.
