Absolutely was. I "liked" Houston even before Bregman, but Houston easily became my favorite team once Bregman joined the parent club.
I have no reason to lie about this. For purposes of full disclosure, my interest started to wane in January, 2019 when Bregman unfairly attacked the Covington High School kids on Twitter and then never apologized for having done so even AFTER a video proved that he was wrong. Hard for me to root for a guy who is not much more than a virtue-signaling left-wing phony.
I was only somewhat interested in Houston after that, but this cheating scandal has completely shattered any affinity I still had for them.
Some of you guys are simply in denial about how bad this is.

GMs, Managers get fired. Players can get traded if a team doesn't perform to certain standards.
Players get fired for how their performances were on the field. If part of the game is tainted and it makes your performance results significantly worse, management is going to assume it is because the player isn't that good.
It really is sad how many Astros fans are trying to blow this off.

I've come to learn that about him. That aspect of his personality didn't come thru that much at LSU, and of course, I became a big Alex Bregman fan because of his days at LSU.

Well I just want players held accountable by be suspending for knowingly breaking the rules. Pete Rose has dealt with this for over 30 years.
