You people stay the hell off of Coach O. Not that I’m too worried. Most of you don’t really know what he’s saying anyway.

Right. The more this happens the more it becomes a societal precedent. And eventually it won't just be public figures getting cancelled.

He's specifically telling people to STOP saying the N word though....

If it’s like that Oregon state TE, context doesn’t matter

Seriously the only thing racist about this is dabo is not allowed to say a certain word that’s in a song because the color of his skin doesn’t afford him that right.

Come on man it’s 2020...and to make matters worse, he’s allegedly saying it in his workplace to African American players. It’s not ok.

Look, I think Dabo is fake, but this is a reach. If the word is so bad why do blacks use it so much when talking to each other. If they spent their energy fixing what is truly wrong with the black community, rather than trying to ruin people’s lives things may get better for them.

Like, absent fathers, drug abuse, infidelity, kids out of wedlock, I can go on but you get the picture.

So he allegedly uses the word himself

Could have easily just said “don’t say the n word”

This board is getting dumber than the SEC rant and Poli board combined.

Everyone wants equality.

So why is it he’s telling people NOT to say it because it’s trashy af, but it’s ok for everyone else to say the word and blare it over speakers inside the doors of a multi million dollar organization?

Let’s put yourself in your shoes. Where ever you work, if you walked into your company’s HQ and gangsta rap was playing and people dropping the n bomb everywhere, how would that be perceived? How would you react?

Why does he need to be cancelled? For being honest. Its pretty cool how equal rights only apply to any one not straight and white.
Free speech is for every American reguardless of skin color.
He's the boss of the lockerroom they do what he says.
Also he wasnt using n****r to be to be inflammatory. It was and is a word used in many rap songs and of people of color, but if a white person says it the world must stop and said white person must be cancelled. Where is the equality in that? Why is it only offensive if a non black person says it?
On a side note the guest that were coming by were probably boosters. These are the people paying the players!

There is no way twitter lets him keep his job

If you think the Clemson fanbase and boosters will allow the Twitter mob to endanger Dabo's job because of something like this, you don't know their fanbase. My Clemson family, who've been in IPTAY for almost 60 years, would cease their membership and never give another dime to the school. I imagine the lion's share of their boosters would do the exact same thing.

Seems like the ex-player (if that’s really him at all) has an ax to grind with Dabo, so entirely possible it could be made up.

But either way, there is never a situation where the word should be used.

Thats a statement to Clemson fans being rational and having a brain

It’s amazing to me the amount of posters on here who want to see a coach and a program get dragged through the mud.
