Yea I dont get where all of this freddie stuff is coming from. Hes only really had one elite season, two if you want to count the covid year

This might be his 2nd but we will see. Either way, I dont see it with Freddie. He has a safe spot in the Hall of good

Freddie having an elite year this year in a big market.
Yu gets in cuz MLB need an Asian and an Iranian in the hall and Ohtani still has many years of playing left.

Freddie freeman is this generation’s will Clark. And the thrill ain’t in the hall.

Clark played 16 full seasons and Freddie has only played 12 full years. Freddie came in to the league at 20 years old and Clark was 22 years old.

Freddie has already passed Clark on homeruns and have a career .25% higher batting average. Freddie has a World Series ring. Freddie will be in the Hall of Fame. Probably not a first ballot, but he has better stats than Will Clark did at 12 years.

The Veterans committee has watered down the Hall of Fame with the addition of Harold Baines, Jack Morris, etc... a lot of these players who put up very good careers but were never truly the best will get into the Hall of Fame.
