It's like every year we have to go around in circles explaining to these morons what logistics, revenue, overhead, profit, and budgeting is.
Your product makes no money therefore you get no nice toys. Same reason the Georgia State football team doesn't travel like the Notre Dame football team or have near the facilities.
The people who have convinced themselves this is a gender issue are willingly living with blinders on.

I’m pretty certain that this was all a set up by the NCAA to get the attention off of some of the men’s players talking about unionizing.
That was the talk for the first day or two and then this came up which was so stupid but also so easily fixable and those men’s stories vanished.

This!! And no one in the media is going to call them out on this farcical and forced narrative for fear of being cancelled. I mean how orchestrated and manipulated was that piece that showed the comparative photos anyway? One wonders even how accurate and representative that even really was...I know I do.
Every time the topic would come up on t.v. or radio after the first time I saw it...and it was often...i immediately changed it off. Such nonsense. So forced.

Seriously. A shitty hotel gym has a better setup than that. I don’t give two shits about their swag bag, it’s garbage for both sexes, but that was the bare minimum for athletes in a big tournament.

I haven't tried to watch WBB in a few years. Is UCONN still winning it every year?
The Women's tournament is alot more predictable than the men's. It's likely not nearly as impossible to get a perfect bracket for the Women's tourney.

I mean I get what you're saying, but this wasn't about individual athletic department budgets like you're comparing with ND and GSU. This was the NCAA supplying them with garbage amenities than any athlete would find inadequate. Getting proper workout equipment really isn't that much to ask.

That's if you buy the veracity and accuracy of what was depicted in the cleverly crafted P.R. piece that was presented as fact.
Not sure I do. Again, I think there was some editing, some things left out, some things not fully explained.....I mean...you know how these things work...the media is getting better and better at this and they were highly motivated to present this in very particular way. And they did.
