I'm assuming they couldn't move it to north Fulton because the south Fulton people would veto it? Sandy springs would have been perfect, otp and right next to 400.

SS would be a nightmare. Probably no space for it either.

Cobb will have traffic issues because of this, but SS doesn't have the transportation infrastructure. Your access to 400 would be a nightmare.

PTC/Fayette/Newnan do hold a lot of Braves fans, but those areas aren't thriving. Newnan and Fayette are already pretty far on the decline, PTC is just going to be an island soon.

Oh I get that. But ideally it would be the perfect location for everyone.

Good job leaving out Marietta...not to mention the cities close by that I didn't list that aren't in Cobb County...you want to put it near those cities? Yeah ok

I've been to Newnan and Peachtree City, I had franternity brothers who live there...that's not even close to Atlanta...this is right outside the perimeter

Facility location absolutely affects attendance

If you don't care then that's great, why are you bitching?

I'm hoping they build an airport north of cumming kind of like dfw/love in Dallas.

Not really plus SS land would cost way too much.
There really isn'tt much access to 60 acres other
than clearing apt complexes or getting access to Chattahoochee National Park Svc land (which will
never happen)

I think Atlantic Station would have been the ideal spot
before they developed it and turned it into a rathole

1. It's not a rat hole.
2. They could still build it here if they tore down those townhouses south of 17th St, I think.

That would make more sense since MARTA already runs up there.

Because they're glad they don't have to drive to "scary" downtown. Meanwhile frick everyone living ITP, North Fulton, Gwinnett, etc.

And Cobb taxpayers like me are fricked.

You haven't been to any of that area in a long time if you think its on the decline. Far from it.

You clearly haven't seen 75 north on a weekday afternoon.
