OU won the Big 12 twice as many times as all the other schools combined. It was getting boring.
And then theres this...
OU vs Misery all time
68-25-5 (72%)

To drive home my earlier point… You do know why Texas doesn’t float into the Gulf of America??? Spoiler alert for those that don’t know the answer: Oklahoma sucks!
Orange beach socks compared to the resr of the emerald coast. And its windy in Oklahoma because Texas ducks and Kansas blows.

Nothing. Oklahoma is OK and that’s as good as it gets.
Please tell me how Alabama is better than Oklahoma? You are one of the few SEC States that doesn't even have a pro team.

re: Toughest Places To Play In The SEC Entering The 2026 Season
Posted by Wishbone85 on 7/16/26 at 10:59 am to John somers
I mean when the Big 12 first started the Big 12 was better than the SEC. In 2000 OU beat Nebraska, Texas, and Kanas St. In 3 straight weeks and all were top 5 teams with KSU and NU being ranked #1. A&M was good then and Mike Leach had TT in the top 10 and Colorado and OSU were top 15.

Having gone to that game many many times it's insane how loud it is. One side or the other is screaming on every single play, its never quiet. Also texass sucks

And of all the great Oklahoma running backs its lesser known Samaje Perine who holds the single game rushing record at 427 yards.

A big reason why softball flows so much better and the games are a lot shorter. No throws at all to 1st but also 7 innings vs 9.

I guess I would lean to maybe TX being the hardest due to catching Ohio State instead of Michigan.
Texas gets the Buckeyes at home and OU plays Michigan on the road. OU also goes to Georgia. I don't think texas has to play Georgia or Alabama this year.
