The CF had a massive shift on perfectly for that ball too. The way he was running seemed like he’d get to it easy

It was tailing to the right and he had a terrible jump. I don’t think he ever saw it and expected it to carry to the wall or something

Both the 3B and CF had a play on the ball and got scared by the wall. Crazy.

Yeah the slide is so confusing.
We’ve seen an outfielder misjudge the wall and jump up and miss a ball 10,000 times. If that happens then okay fine whatever.
