Now I’m of the believe this was never happening, Saban leveraged the job to get paid at Bama.

Let’s say the move actually happens though, Saban goes to Texas, what does the college football landscape look like? Is Texas a real contender? How good is Bama? What else changes?

Les Miles goes to Alabama and Clemson never wins a title.

Texas and Georgia play every championship.

It was 2013; not 2015.

The Saban Texas rumors went down after the 2013 season.

depends on how much the Texas donors get in the way but since it is Saban I think they buy him a nice lake house.

One of the most interesting things to think about with this hypothetical is how would Saban have handled all of the Texas boosters and big wigs who want a say in how the football program is run? At Alabama, it appears that he made clear that the program would be run his way, and that boosters would not have any control. I assume he would have done the same at Texas.

Saban would win at any school because once he arrives, it's no longer the same school. He'd have Miss St in the championship game.

Had Saban left in 2013. Kirby or Dabo would have got the job.
