A week to week sport where anybody can beat anybody and they all beat up on each other. Everyone has injuries and little depth. No clear dominant team.

Yep.

There's no depth. One injury can destroy the hopes of anyone now.

The transfer portal destroyed depth.
"If I ain't startin, I ain't stayin".

Look at Ohio State.
Sounds like Sayin may be done for the year.
Lincoln Kienholz should still be at OSU but thanks to the portal he's balling out at Louisville.

It is the NFL, just with shittier players
I only watch with my parents, because they still like it, but it really sucks now

Especially in the SEC where almost any team has a possibility of beating any other team.

I would like to see them adopt the nfl kickoff rules or move the kickoff back to the 30
We need some returns back in the game

and a loss or two doesn’t end your season so it’s not really a pivotal moment for fans…only making the playoffs and playoff wins and losses matter/are remembered

before, when one or two losses literally ended your championship hopes those losses defined seasons and stick in the memory of fans on the losing end and those who had upsets

seasons and teams will all start to blend together

Yep. Those rent-a-win revenue games for the smaller in state schools just died. Their programs will suffer and probably die.

Really sucks because ESPN just fricked the whole sport.

More high school kids will be getting NIL.

I think this is the first time in a long while that there hasn’t been a truly dominant team. Any of the top 12 teams could win the national championship this year. There’s a lot of parity, which should make for an interesting (or as someone posted an NFL type of season).

Impossible we just came to this conclusion. I was told all week from this board that Ohio State and Notre Dame would roll by at least 2+ TDs

“College football has basically become the same as the most popular sport in the country”

Sounds great.

So, y’all don’t like upsets now?

Yeah, Inthiught there was no way anyone outside the top 4 could win a playoff. We are only in week 6 and and any team in the top 20 right now could win the Natty. That’s awesome for the sport. My money is Indiana as they will keep improving. I also can see Ole Miss with that QB making a run.
