That was the major reason why he had so much success. He basically perfected the HUNH before teams had grown accustomed to seeing it. Why he wouldn’t go back to the well is beyond comprehension.

At Philly it wasn't just an offense, it was a lifestyle.

He'll be a Saban analyst next year.

In other words, he just wants a paycheck because actually trying to implement anything would be too much work.
Sorry Ucklah, you made a wager and you lost. Pay your marker and play again.

Chip Kelly has been brought in to take a dying program and put it out of its misery

UCLA needs to fire Kelly and bring in Les Miles

I don't think that's what UCLA had in mind

I’m all in if he goes to wishbone.

I havemt watched a single UCLA clip, so i had no idea he wasnt running his old offense.
After reading this, Im convinced that he's done after this season. That offense made him lots of money. But now he abandons it just because, even though his team is complete trash

to be fair, i don't think he's run that offense since year 1 in Philly. that's 2013-2014-ish
i'm with the "he's just mailing it in" crowd here. he wanted to be in the NFL, failed there, doesn't even get OC offers, and he is cashing paychecks
dude is pulling a June Jones in recruiting, too. almost a for cause fire at this point

"Hey Coach, do you have any plans on doing things that brought you success previously?"
Chip: "Why would I do that?"

You mean the two years he had NFL success? Like you said what he is doing now is firable offense. It is criminal.
If I was UCLA brass I would give him an ultimatum both on the offense and recruiting, if he fails to do either, especially the recruiting, get him for cause.
I have heard rumors he is working less than. 40 hours a week. If so, that's insane.

Well then he's useless.
He sucks at recruiting and now he's abandoning his schtick and something almost every H.S. in the nation runs.

People here have been acting like he's running the same offense he ran at Oregon. People here aren't watching UCLA play. It was obvious in that Cincinnati game. They take a long time between plays. I figured he was waiting to get his players in before he cranked it up. He'd be a fool to not try to speed the offense up because what he's doing now clearly isn't working.
They’re also lining up under center to add to that. The Oregon Blur Offense is non existent in this scheme

I bet if he got the athletes he would. He just doesn’t have them at UCLA

You mean like all those bad arse athletes he had at new Hampshire, the one he had setting records in I-AA or the bad arse athletes he had at he had at Oregon when he got there with all those highly ranked classes that ranked in the 30s?
He made his way up the coaching ranks by running the system. The only time he has been successful has been running the system.

Chip Kelly doesn’t give a shite about being a football coach anymore. He’ll milk his paycheck until he gets fired and then go off and enjoy life while the buyout checks get direct deposited every month.
