I'm not a fan of dropping Road America but this is cool.

Glad to see the sport diversifying its schedule after it being so stagnant the first fifteen years of the 2000s.

As long as the races are all about family and Corona Beer then we’ll be good

There is going to be some bodywork destroyed where Turn 10 goes into Turn 11, IMO.

Have you ever been to a NASCAR race?

Can you name one current driver?

Can you name one track?

I would bet "NO" to all of these. So STFU you NPC assclown.

And I'm the furthest thing from a cuck. Which is an overused word as it is

Need to get more details before convinced this is good. Some road (city) courses are bad and others decent.

Most drivers have motor homes they stay in will they have a spot within the area allowing racers to walk to pit lane (and have plentiful protection)?

Where will crews stay?

If it rains are roads drained well enough to race on wets (no ponding)?

How will camera angles be? Lots of road courses have bad views and/or blind sections.

Depending on time of day how is sun/shadow angles? Any sun blinded areas? Any buildings reflect sun causing blind spots?

Being the typical 4th timeline will they still have patriotic themes in a crime ridden city?

Will this turn into a “woke” event with Chicago mayor wanting front and center? Will Bubba be used by NASCAR as face of sport?

Lots more but I don’t like it at first glace. I may change my tune depending on info as it comes in.

He gargles Nascar's balls daily.

It's classic when he screams a track is filled to capacity and things are awesome then several people point out it is clear from the camera views there is maybe 40% attendance.

Nascar does no wrong!

This should rank right up there with the LA Coliseum extravaganza.

This should get a lot of new eyeballs on the sport. A buddy who has never watched a NASCAR race before wants to go to it. I hope the product matches the hype.

This track is in downtown Chicago. There's about 45,000 hotel rooms within a mile or two if they need them.
