God, please let the city open Grant Park to become a pop-up RV resort. The party would be 100x better than Lollapalooza. I'm getting hard right now thinking about all the whores.

Sure, pal. It was a great race. But you're so dug in on hating NASCAR that you can't admit that you were maybe wrong.

And this street race is replacing a proper road course race 2.5 hours north at Road America.
Shitshow
What are the winning Powerball #'s there, Miss Cleo?

I'm guessing this could be country shows, and if so I'm very interested. Just gonna reserve judgement on whether the people they book are actually "A list".

Stick to your Nascar thread inbred.

FYI it’s NASCAR (National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing) not Nascar.

One of the most iconic cities in the world, Chicago will add another chapter to its illustrious sports history when a NASCAR Cup Series street race debuts against the backdrop of Lake Michigan and Grant Park, televised on NBC.
Most iconic? Is it really, though?
Great city, modern leftism and crime notwithstanding, but is it really ICONIC?
One of the most iconic????
Really really??

It's shortcomings aside, Chicago is a short-list historic and iconic city.
It's not called The Second City for nothing.

Future headline: NASCAR race stopped in progress as four drivers were carjacked in pit row.

Those 90 deg corners are gonna be tough for those heavy stockers.
F1 ran a street course in Detroit a number of years ago. Keke Rosberg asked a reporter through a cloud of Marlboro smoke “have you ever tried to apply 600HP to a manhole cover on racing slicks”.

Those are really wide streets down there, so they'll be able to smooth them out.

That oughta be interesting. I see they dropped Road America for it. It only lasted 2 years. Wonder which track is axed next for the latest new thing?
Pocono would be my guess but they have both of their races in one weekend. Maybe Michigan ?

F1 ran in Detroit for several years, then it became a CART race.

Guess the joke was too complicated for left turn racing fans.
