He did lose the ball. He had it between his forearm and chest and when he hit the ground, it was above his forearm, but the offhand covered it up to give the appearance that he held on.

I like it if only for the fact that I despise that we have morphed videos review into this thing where we have to challenge every single made call on the field versus what it was originally intended for
We just had to wait 2 minutes to confirm a catch all because we now have super 4k HD cameras capturing every single micro second of movement and can detect a fraction of an inch of movement and use that to overturn calls which is just garbage
