When you look at comparable claims at byu, the precedent seems to indicate he will not play again.
Just my 2 cents.
I live near the campus. And what I’ve been told is there’s a ton of tattle-taling w the honor code and adjacent students come forward to rat others out.
Even if she’s full of it, which I think she is, he still has other obstacles to clear.

How about the woman/gf flat out denying the claim and the University not allowing the defendant to confront their accuser?
That's what happened to the kicker at USC. Kicked off team, kicked out of school for a mere claim by an anonymous accuser.

There's probably some communication prior that leads to him thinking she was down for freak town when she came over to his home.
At this point I look at "snatched off the street by a stranger" rape different than a girl who is voluntarily alone with a guy. Parents need to teach their daughters properly.

I don't understand the reaction in this thread. Typically, everyone says "then why didn't go to the police." in this case they did, rape kit and all. And the police doesn't seem to be refuting the evidence, only that she didn't want to identify the perp.
Need to see what the police had as evidence back then, but people just dismissing the story is kind of wild. I guess you can attribute some of that to all the liars in these type of cases in the past.

Plenty of evidence she was WITH him, absolutely nothing that clearly shows rape.
Do women really not understand they will never be the only one when it comes to athletes? Never ever.
