Absolutely. Your linemen, linebackers, safeties and WRs are legit.

Can you give a positive assessment of Bryce Young right now?

Of course not. Let him run away.

Ironically the only qb he's beat this year

Tua is the exception for Bama QBs in the NFL, not the rule.

Funny, he was one of the ones labeled a bust not too long ago by the MSB nerds

Don’t act like every AL fan here hopes Burrow, etc fails and gloats about it.

Is it stupid hoping for failure for a guy because of where he played college football? Yes.

For the record, I’d hate Mac Jones no matter where he went.

I have to eat crow on this one. I thought he would be the best qb out of last years draft. Looks like he may be the worst. It’s still early but I don’t think any legit QBs looked this bad their rookie year

Jalen Hurts is another Bama QB who’s done well for himself in the NFL. He also looked awful his first year. I’m not seeing anything that makes me think Young will make the same improvement Hurts did, but I didn’t think Hurts would either.

Having said that, Stroud absolutely looks like the better pick and that trade seems terrible at the moment.

Why did the Panthers trade up to get the #1 overall pick and then take Bryce Young over CJ Shroud? Are they stupid?

I thought they would both make it in the NFL, Young seemed to have the instincts for the position, he just seemed like a winner and maybe he will turn it around.

I noticed Stroud's NFL arm the first time I saw him play, wasn't sure about the rest of his game. He is looking good but it is early

Revisionist take. He doesn’t look great now but he absolutely was elite in college

I was a Stroud guy but Young is in a poor situation. He probably should have been a redshirt but he has some things working against. Frank Reich is a fraud and his weapons suck. I think once he develops an idea for the speed of the pro game, and he gets some better weapons, he should cook more.

The rumor is Reich was taking Stroud but he was overruled by the owner
