Bryce Young fricking sucks just like Justin Fields. Typically the next great QBs show flashes. What has Bryce shown? Over throwing receivers and being afraid to throw deep? He’s captain checkdown.

Too early to say if he is a bust. He's a rookie on a terrible team, time will tell

Bageant is a fricking rookie on a terrible team as well, except he was a fuking Div II player and undfrafted FA. I think it's clear Young is a gigantic bust for such a tiny person.

I never saw what was so special about him at Bama. To me, he looked like an average guy with incredible talent around him who had all day to throw the ball to whomever he wanted because they were always wide open.

That is not what breeds great nfl QBs. That's actially the exact opposite of what breeds great nfl QBs in college.

Bryce sucks, not passing the eye test, you can usually tell very early on if a QB has it or not, take Tua for example, terrible team his rookie year with a dumb head coach, struggled alot but would show flashes of greatness, not getting this with Bryce.

The important thing was it was very easy to tell who was the 1st overall pick and who was the undrafted free agent last seen tearing it up in front of 500 people during an away game at the Colorado School of Mines.

Oh wait, it was hard to tell - ok that’s a problem.

Good point. Let’s look at the previous #1 draft picks at QB and the general consensus after half a season. I started with Stafford since he is the last QB still in the league.

Stafford
Bradford
Cam
Luck
Winston
Goff
Mayfield
Kyler
Burrow
Trevor
BY

I’d suggest Young has looked worst than all of the above at their respective points.

Yes it’s early. But the early returns are bad.

3 straight games where he’s accounted for 0 TDs. Not good
