rumor is it's Mixon related per guy I work with...stay tuned...will keep you abreast

Exactly. Presumably, his children are grown and have/are close to having children themselves. Being a CFB coach at a place like Oklahoma can probably eat away at the opportunity for a vibrant/involved home life. Enjoy your life and your family.

Oddly enough, my dad sent me a clip from the Chicago Tribune last month that Stoops and his wife had bought a home in the Gold Coast neighborhood. Guess he's been prepping to move on.

agree. life is too short to be spent sitting in film rooms and recruiting high schoolers. i'd do the same thing if i was him.
