“Ok everyone take 5”
Seriously though. It looks like it took the head coaches coming together and saying frick this. We ain’t playing.
Rodger thought he could just cart him off and put out a presser after the game. Just an awful human.

Just call it NFL, this game is pointless.
They should be raked across the coals relentlessly for that initial 5 minute break are you kidding me

the fact that they waited for his parents to go into the ambulance with him to go with him to the hospital is an awful sign. There's no way they would delay getting him to the hospital if he life was still saveable.

Booger continues to be the voice of sanity. He has handled a terrible situation very well.
I mean it’s ridiculous for the network to continue to put them on camera with nothing new to talk about. Do extended commercials or put on some old corn hole match or some shite

They keep going on about the hit, but clearly that has nothing to do with it. That was a cardiac arrest from some underlying heart condition, usually HOCM or a coronary artery anomaly in that age group.
Most big time athletes are screened for HOCM in college and definitely the pros I would think. It’s a simple ultrasound.

When IndyCar driver Dan Weldon died on the track at Las Vegas, they ended the race. The drivers just couldn’t continue.
But when Driver Justin Wilson was knocked unconscious and choppered to the hospital, they continued the race. Wilson was declared dead the next day.

The fact they haven’t cancelled it points to it being a great sign. The nfl isn’t completely braindead.

Only thing that remotely resembles this in my lifetime is what happened with Owen Hart in WWF when his rigging equipment malfunctioned and he fell. They did CPR and everything on him there.
WWF continued the show, even after announcing that Hart died as a result of his injuries and was crucified for it. I think the NFL has to at least suspend the game for tonight. If this young man died during the broadcast the NFL would never live that down.
just about a year ago... a soccer player in Europe had a heart attack fairly early in the match
player said he was legally dead on the pitch for like 5 minutes but was resuscitated and is playing again
the match continued and was finished... but the league was raked over the coals for not suspending that match

This is the first time I've turned on an NFL Game in years. I hope this young man is ok.
He had a cardiac arrest on the field.
Hopefully he'll recover, but he's not okay.
The NFL needs to call this game.
I strongly suspect this has nothing to with the hit, and everything to do with a sudden on-the-field cardiac dysrhythmia.

The NFL needs to call it right now. Have to imagine the NFLPA is telling Goodell that the players won’t come back out tonight.

I just said to my wife, I'll bet they love getting to air all of these commercials.
Just cut to Ocho programming for the rest of the night. Some nice, peaceful marble racing.

Put it on anything else, ESPN. This is tough to watch

I don't know how the players could continue to play. Your heart is somewhere else, not in the game. Call it a draw and end it
It’s not safe for them to play in that emotional state
