Lol 0% chance. They could have cut his head off on field and theyd finish game. $$$$$$
Keep downvoting me. They are getting a full 5 mins break before they start back.

Coaches look like they're ready to declare a "No contest" result.

I dont know how they do. Hopefully they get some good news shortly here that the young man is ok and then they can carry on. Otherwise I don't see how they could. The players will probably sit.

It is ACLS protocol to administer oxygen while administering CPR
CPR is now compression only, you don't administer rescue breaths. They studied that taking the few second break to try to administer breaths is less valuable than keeping blood circulating.
However, if oxygen is available you give it.
You administer oxygen via a bag mask if thats all you have, nasal cannula if thats all you have.
Intubation is the best to fully secure the airway and administer oxygen.

It looks like this is on hold. Perhaps just want to regroup first

They keep going on about the hit, but clearly that has nothing to do with it. That was a cardiac arrest from some underlying heart condition, usually HOCM or a coronary artery anomaly in that age group.

Good on the coaches if they told the NFL it's done.

Makes no sense why they would do cpr this long with the support staff on hand. They’d absolutely have a defibrillator ready.
If you don't have a pulse there is nothing to shock.

Pulling the teams off the field. This is just terrible. So upsetting from a pesonal perspective.

Going to the locker rooms to regroup

In an interview well after the incident, Eriksen said he was legally dead for five minutes when he was on the field.
That was a bit more visceral to me because his teammate was the first one to give him CPR and I think the first responders were quicker here.
