I wish I could upvote this more than once.

The Stihl lumberjack competition or whatever it was called put me to sleep many nights. And worlds strongest man. Magnus Samuelson TYFYS.

I used to watch her all the time on ESPN while I shot pool on my living room table. Pool and Jeremy McGrath in motocross racing were always on.

Before she came to the States to kick arse on the 9 ball circuit, she was a snooker champion back in England. A way different game on a much larger table and a game you really don't see played much in the U.S.

I have a subscription to DAZN and they show snooker matches pretty regularly and it's a great game to follow. The level of shot making, cue ball positioning and being able to shoot with either hand is a huge plus since those tables are HUGE.

Stadium carries the Stihl lumberjack stuff. That's where I go to get my fix.

Someone just needs to bring back Roller Jam now. Mark d'Amato and the New York Enforcers for the win.

Sad to hear. She was bad arse.

I also liked the commercial for “the Miz, the Master” trick shot video.

And the shame of that statement is it can get worse, as in-----Scrip's Spelling Bee Contest, Cornhole Championship, Axe Throwing, Skateboarding, etc., etc., etc....

As for Jeanette Lee, she is one of my favorites to watch. Easy on the eyes, great player and all class all the time. She is the antithesis of a player like Earl Strickland, who acts like a petulant child far too many times.

The old days of Earl the Pearl Strickland, Efren Reyes, Johnny Archer on the tube were golden

Watching Allison Fisher was like watching paint dry. Lee and the “Striking Viking” were the fun ones to watch.

The only person I can name that plays pool for a living.

Ovarian cancer is awful. Know a 29 year old who died from it . Went from perfectly healthy to dead in 11 months.

Is that the one that’s had said “Ewa Mataya”? For some reason that name stuck in my head all these years. I don’t know anything about the player.

You ever played the game, where there are no holes, and you hit shite and try to block balls? I was desperately looking for some live sports and they had some pool'ish game from Asia on. And they had no holes on the table.

That game is called "Straight Billiards" and played on a table with no pockets and no diamond markings and only 3 balls used. The object is to shoot your cue ball into the object ball and also strike your opponents cue ball in the same stroke.

The only time I've seen that played is in the movie "The Hustler" when Paul Newman and George C. Scott go to a rich guys house for a private high stakes match.

The character's name was Findley and played by Murray Hamilton and by night's end, owed his guests many thousands of dollars.
