That was a just a bad play by Russel Wilson. He should have thrown the ball 1 second before he did. Also, the pass should have been thrown low. He threw a high late pass on a slant. The game should have never been put in his hands to start with.

Seahawks won a Super Bowl.

It's easily the Bills. That SB was the closest they came to winning amid all their blowout defeats.

I definitely disagree with this, why the hell is he the starting QB if you think this? His performance in the NFC title game comeback after his horrible start and to that point in the game is why they were in that position in the first place.

That Super Bowl where it was called after the 3rd quarter and the Falcons won. That’s what happened? Right?

That game is extra heartbreaking to Larry Fitzgerald.

Guy had an otherworldly postseason.

6/101/1
8/166/1
9/152/3
7/127/2

30 receptions, 546 yards, 7 TDs in the 4 biggest games of his life including what looked to be the game winning TD with 2 minutes left.

Kentwood, LA native Jackie Smith. Had a great career as an NFL TE. Unfortunately, that drop is what he’s remembered for.

You're an idiot. You should listen to the interview with Bubba Smith. He actually played in the game and knows a lot more about it than your dumb arse.

Agree!

The Colts were easily the better team.

Bubba Smith had some very candid statements about that game. He mentioned Shula especially.

1. 28-3. This will never be topped

Well, the Falcons might make the SB again one day, so I wouldn’t go as far as to say never

Falcons hands down. Had 28-3 lead with 2 min left in the third.

Pretty sure the Titans lost a super bowl to the Rams where the guy got tackled at the 1 yard line to lose the game as time ran out. That has to be it

IMO this is it and its not particularly close. The reason this is above the others is because the Titans came up one yard short in a game no one gave them a chance in. Seahawks lost to the Pats because of a stupid call by the coaches. They deserved to lose for outthinking themselves. Falcons just flat out collapsed and had some stupid play calls that caused the lost. Bills lost more because the Giants outplayed them and used a defensive scheme (Bellichik) that no one had used against them. Yes Norwood missed and he gets the blame and it was bad. But it was a 47 yard attempt certainly makeable but not a chip shot in them days. The best offense in the NFL was shutdown all day.

Super Bowl XXX - Neil O’Donnell’s terrible QB play giving Dallas the win.

If Pittsburgh hadn’t already won 4 in the 70s, Super Bowl XXX might’ve been the most devastating loss in that game’s history. O’Donnell TWICE threw the football directly to the opposing cornerback and made Larry Brown a Super Bowl MVP, costing them a winnable Super Bowl.

Rams losing in 2001. They had just won two years before, so the heartbreak probably wasn't as bad, but to watch your dynasty in the making go up in smoke in one of the all time great playoff upsets because they wouldn't give the ball to Marshall Faulk had to suck.

And what unfolded afterwards was more heartbreaking of the four.
