That ‘94 Penn State team beat a great Oregon team in the Rose Bowl that year.

Was Penn State even a B1G school back in 94?
We don’t claim Miami’s NC as ACC championships.

It’s soooooooo convenient that the OP thread title says “49 seasons”, want to know why? Because if you go back just one more year to 50 seasons....it goes to 1970...want to guess who won the title in 1970??? That’s right, The Ohio State University. This thread is stupid. Randomly selecting a number like 49 seasons shows you how desperate the OP is. I could start a thread about Minnesota having more championships (7 Championships) than every school in the SEC minus Alabama.

2.5 titles..

97..Co-Champ that wouldve been absolutely mauled by Neb head-to-head

02..took a whistle after the game was over to get to OT..Canes blew it

15..earned by 2nd half rally vs Bama..then rolled in first CFPCG..the most legit of the three

Totally changes the narrative when it’s 4 championships in 51 years.

1 every 13 vs 1 every 25. Yeah, it kinda does.

Fun with numbers!

Penn State dropped after a 35-29 win over Indiana. Lions were number 1, and IU scored two garbage time TDs.

And they were garbage time Hail Mary's.

And the Kordell Stewart Hail.

PSU got sunk by two Hail Marys and a sportswriter collusion because Tom Osborne said he was going to retire and then only had a faded Miami team that only had a stud on Sapp to beat in the Orange Bowl.

And Zero SEC teams have traveled north to win a single championship in the cold and snow

Have no SEC teams EVER traveled to Michigan or Ohio State in November?

Eh, I don’t think that Hail Mary was the difference. The garbage time TDs by Indiana, sure.

I can’t think of any that have, but when was the last time a big non-conference matchup like that was in November?

The Big Ten has several teams that aren’t afraid to schedule and have been in those big kickoff games. But those are in Arlington, Atlanta, Houston, etc.

I think Indianapolis should host one. Hell, since it’s early in the year, put it in Chicago or Green Bay. That LSU game in Lambeau was a cool affair

Well it was 50, then I realized this was the 50th season so, on the off chance you guys actually play football I held off.

But if your argument is we have 1 more if you got back to 1970, then sure, you can have it
