Is it though? If Allstate is pumping money into the conference as a major sponsor then that should mean more money to the schools in addition to TV money. The name sound stupid but I think it is smart. This will trickle down to other conferences.

As soon as one conference, no matter how small or bankrupt, actually gets a check for this, it won’t be long before the biggest and wealthiest conferences do it too.
Trust me… no matter how much money a conference has… they won’t be able to sleep at night knowing another conference is getting paid for something that they are not being paid for.
