Problem is that using this after numerous other excuses is sketchy as hell.
Not much different than all the fools who try to claim religious exemption for the COVID vaccine when they've already talked about not wanting it b/c they were still doing "research". Too bad so sad. You can't claim an issue when you've already clearly let everyone know it's not the reason you are behaving the way you are.

I get the sense given his total lack of sincerity so far that most folks aren't going to take very kindly to him pulling the mental health card to keep half-assing on his obligations.

Theoretically they can’t withhold it due to this.
Problem being that it is being done so transparently that even the NBAPA will call bullshite. They are supposed to represent the players but this is going to frick ALL the players at the rate it is going.
