If I'm not mistaken he was flagged not long before that for a personal foul after he got beat in coverage, got up, and grabbed/pushed one of the Commanders' guards facemasks.

Regardless of how it started, he was in position when the ball arrived (Daniels scrambled long enough to allow that). But it’s a BAD look when you don’t even realize the play started AND you’re the guy who gave the opponent a gift wrapped tip to win the game.

I'm not sure about that.
He was scrambling himself. He could have had the responsibility of bodying up the deep WR but never got there because he had to sprint to the ball.
