Make current 3 point shots worth 2 instead and current 2s worth 3s….the return to post play. Would be glorious

Limit the amount of 3 point attempts you can take per game - I have no clue what the number should be or if it would work - I’m just throwing shite against the wall.

This. 3-pointers need to be nerfed a little
Also, free throws should be 1.5 points each for a regular 3-point shot, and 2 points each for a 4-point shot. Only 2 free throws for any shooting foul....

Best rule change would be to get rid of fouling out.
You stay in the game after 5 fouls, but there is a penalty for future fouls.
Two shot fouls become three; three shot fouls become 4; one and one fouls become two to make three.
This rule change would make the coach decide if it was better to keep the player in the game or not.

Could go very radical and make it like the old HS girls BB rules, 6 v 6. 3 on offense and 3 on defense and can’t go past the halfway line.
I have no doubt nothing will change. They do need a 2/3/4 point line where the new 4 point is 5 feet further out. I like the idea of only 2 FTs no matter what the shot attempt was.

They should widen the court by 8-10 feet and extend the 3 point line by 2 feet on each side while making the arc a perfect semicircle. They need to make shooting threes harder while creating more space for dribble penetration and post play.

This would be costly but feasible at the NBA level but not in college or high school.
It’s not a bad idea for the nba.

The simple solution would be to make the rims slightly smaller in diameter.
Long range shooting percentages go down making the three point shot less of a statistical advantage.

Nothing wrong with the game itself. Develop players better, call games correctly and let them play defense in the NBA. Do those 3 things and the game will be back to flourishing.
