I actually don’t mind Brandon Walker.
But Portnoy clearly hired Mintz to be the southern bumpkin to make fun of because Portnoy is a fricking yankee a-hole. I hope they get it on video the day someone kicks his arse.

Walker is a good pivot from most of the other personalities. He understands the assignment. He’s pretty solid

I think he hired him thinking he was getting a grinder that would be good for gambling content and had a strong following in the south…he was wrong on all fronts but he amused Dave as a punching bag so that helped keep him around

Going to ballgames for a job isn't as much fun as going as a fan. That's why they pay you to do it. I did it for fun off and on from 1986-2006. I say for fun because I only got $80-100 per game to do it. I had to be there at least an hour before the game and didn't leave til midnight for a game that ends at 10:30.
Mintz had to interact with everyone's fans. My personality wouldn't allow for much of that.

Mintz needs to return to North Louisiana and do public appearances at the most redneck businesses we have. Show him the whole world has not turned their back on him. Screw the cancel culture and the corporate fear it creates. That was a BS move 100%

I may disagree with Dave on a few things and some of his hires, but he’s a good dude at heart. I don’t even like Mintz but I’m glad he got his job back after the whole ordeal
