I've tried giving him the benefit of the doubt for the last few months, but I can't do it anymore. He struck out swinging 5 times in the first 2 games of the Mets series and wasn't even close to making contact. His swing plane is all fricked up.
Among qualified players, Riley is fourth in strikeouts, sixth to last in OPS and 4th to last in batting average. It's shockingly shitty!

I have no doubt he is posting in some capactiy. He needs this place, unfortunately.
He was getting railed on when posting under his original name and thought he'd pull one over on the community by creating a new name. Unfortunately for him he didn't change his posting style and was quickly found out while trying to claim he forgot his password. He had to have learned a lesson from that and has probably tried to fly under the radar.

Riley needs a fresh start somewhere else, and the Braves need to move on, but no one will take on that albatross of a contract. They're stuck with him.

Wow. I knew he was having a bad year, but I didn’t realize it was one of the worst hitters in the league bad.

He has been on a downward slide for 3 years, but it really fell off a cliff this year. That contract is quickly drifting into Chris Davis territory.

I heard today that a Bay Area reporter said that the Giants would be willing to part with one of their bad contracts.....either Adames or Chapman for 2 of Atlanta's bad contracts Riley AND Murphy.
