At some point a defender is going to absolutely wreck Mahomes on one of those plays

The dancing around trying to get an extra yard or two before immediately dropping down to get a penalty.
The tiptoeing the sideline to get an extra yard or two before stepping out at the last second to get a penalty.
If the NFL doesn't address this, a defender is going to eventually light him the frick up. Why wouldn't you? You're going to get a 15-yard penalty anyway. Might as well get your money's worth.

As I said last night, it’s past the time to light that mfer up.
If stabler, Namath, Bradshaw, McMahon, Montana, staubach, et al can take monstrous hits, let’s see if that pussy can play through the pain these real men suffered and played through. Wreck him.

Yeah yesterday was just blatant favoritism towards Mahomes. I think the players are going to respond.

Need a Sean Taylor type to rectify the situation

I’ve said this before but it’s amazing how both Mahomes and Allen haven’t missed any time with injuries with how much they hold onto the ball and try to make plays outside the pocket. Both QBs have been very fortunate during their careers.

It would be glorious to watch that dude getting his arse knocked to the third row.

I'd be willing to bet either Buffalo or Baltimore will eat a 15yd penalty and put Patrice on his arse.

I’d hit him late and hard the first opportunity I get of the game.
Who cares about 15 yards? What, at worst it’s an ejection? Worth it to not only send a message but maybe knock Mahomes out of the game.

You don’t have to go back that far… Lamar and Josh take those same hits now and the refs don’t call nothing

Because whoever does that will IMMEDIATELY get kicked out of the league. If one is down to be permanently banned for it, then go for it.

He's brought the insufferable NBA flop mentality into the NFL. It's a disgrace.

Happened last night with Goff.

Suspended for the rest of the season, yes maybe.
Banned from the league? Nope.
Worth it.

Yep, and zero flags.
Had that been done to Mahomes, it would have been a 15 yard penalty and fines the next day.

Yeah the NFL will change the penalty overnight the first time that mahommes takes a shot on the sideline that takes him out of a game
Similar thing happened with the free play to a lesser extent. QBs like rodgers feasted off of that for a decade, then someone got destroyed in the backfield because the refs didn’t blow the whistle and then ever since they blow a play dead a huge chunk of the time without allowing the free play (which is a good thing, free play is an awful unfair advantage to QBs)

I really thought that dirty player on the Texans Al Shazam was going to take him out.

Add Aikman to that list. It literally shortened his career, which is why he’s outspoken about it IMO. He’s right and I appreciate it as a fan.
Mahomes is great but it’s a lot easier to make those scrambling plays when you aren’t worried about getting hit.
