Damn straight. Those were sharp unis.

They don't need to change anything but if they did, it could only be back to the .45's. They wouldn't do that - hell Washington can't even be the Bullets!

I thought the original name change was due to trademark/copyright issues, not political correctness.

I'd be fine with changing everything but the name, unless of course they go back to Colt .45's.

I don't care. The Astros as an organization died the minute they accepted switching to the AL. Gone are all of the old rivalries, might as well take the identity too.

Pretty true.

Bring back these uni's and the similar blue jerseys.

I know this probably doesn't make sense, but I feel like the navy/gold was very Astrodome-ish, whereas navy/orange works better for a roof-open/natural grass stadium.

If the Stros want a name fitting of the crowd, they could be the Houston Cubs or Houston Cardinals for 18 games out of the year.

I hate the move, but there was nothing they could do. Everything I read had it as a condition of the sale. Didn't matter whether it was Crane or not.

I still don't understand why they couldn't have moved the Dbacks, who I believe were willing to make the switch, and then moved the Astros to the NL West.

I don't think the name will change. I just think it's a matter of the owner being completely open to change if there are good enough reasons. I think there would be considerable resistance to changing the name. On the bright side, you can finally bring food and water into the stadium.
