I remember tuning in for the first episode and thinking the show was never gonna make it because this reali kid is a schmuck
Quickly became my favorite of that era

Largest collection of drunks until the trans/gay era brought on the new wave of shitty hosts.

Who's old enough to remember the old Sunday morning show, The Sports Reporters, when Dick Schaap hosted?
This pic includes Michael Wilbon, Mitch Albom, Schaap, and Mike Lupica.
I used to get up, grab a cup of coffee, and tune in religiously in the 80's.
Mitch Albom kept his 70's haircut thru the 80's to hide his big ears. Dude wrote some great books.

I watched this show religiously in the LSU Union after class getting a bite to eat.
Time does indeed fly.

Max Kellerman was the host before Reali, but I do remember thinking the show wouldn't last after Kellerman left and PTI's "Stat Boy" (Reali) took over.

I used to think it was the biggest deal in the world if LSU did something and the sports reporters discussed it…very rarely happened in those days
I never really liked ATH, in theory solid idea to get guys from around the country but it was always the same group of douche bags.

Mariotti was one mean-spirited dude. And he basically just disappeared.
