He’s a legitimately excellent golfer for his age. Here he is doing a scramble witb PGA golfer. They take many of Trump’s shots.

The Senior Tees at Bedminster run at roughly 6,000 yards. Shooting a 70 at 80 years old would make Trump possibly the best ever 80 year old golfer.

Hes still up there. He just left the PGA years ago and has been on the Saudi LIV Golf Tour.
I was talking about the PGA part, not the top 10 part.

Not saying Trump is a great golfer or anything, but this was clearly a Net 70.
I have no idea how good he is, but with net he could have shot 90.

Even then, they do it rarely. That picture shows trumps handicap is a 70. I don’t know what par is there, but he’s not a scratch golfer at 80 and he definitely isn’t a +.

Shooting 70 at his age isn’t “decent”. It’s all time great category
Shooting 80 would be considered excellent. Shooting 90 would be good. Shooting 95-100 would be decent

Whether you believe Trump can shoot 70 at age 80 and believe he has legitimately won 40 club championships is a pretty good litmus test of whether you are a giant dumbass or not.

Decent 80yo golfers don't shoot BACK TO BACK scratch 70s on a 66.6 / 124 (from the reds) course.
There may be a few dozen 80yo scratch golfers in the entire US; some of them are former pros, and most of them play every round their body will allow them to.
I am not remotely suggesting he isn't a good golfer for an 80yo but he ain't a scratch golfer, and he ain't putting together back-to-back -2s at Bedminster even from the reds. Keep in mind at 80 just being above ground is an accomplishment.
As I said before, it doesn't impact me in my day-to-day; it wouldn't even be an issue at all if he didn't crow about it to the world and poor-mouth his competition.
