For him it looks bad if he doesn’t win.

On the one hand, guy who lies about everything all the time continuing to lie wouldn’t be that weird

On the other hand, the dude plays an absolute frick ton of golf and has for years. I’m assuming he’s shooting from the super senior tees as well. It would be strange if he wasn’t good at it at this point.

In 2004 at the American Century Celebrity tournament, when he was 57 and in much better shape. he finished 56th out of 79 celebrities and athletes. His modified Stableford score was -6.

Unfortunately, under this scoring, the highest "+ score" wins - Dan Quinn won with a score of +74. In 2005 his score was +26, good for 42nd place. In 2006 his score was -16, good for 65th place.

It's amazing how his scores magically improve when there are no cameras and officials around.

He couldn't shoot 70 at Putt-Putt. If you believe he can shoot 70, you probably believe his claim that he's 6'3" and 215 pounds too

Haha

Its obviously bullshite. I enjoyed watching him play with Bryson but they edit out a lot of shots.

You made the classic mistake of taking it too far. I agree that his score in this tournament is probably not true and he’s sandbagging and/or lying. But saying he couldn’t shoot 70 in putt putt and acting like he’s a bad golfer is also stupid. He can be pretty good at golf and also be lying about his scores.

I do find it funny that he has been boasting about his golf game when he would rip into Obama and Biden for golfing during their presidencies

I watched the break 50 with Bryson

Then you know he’s not full of shite on the golf course. Honestly that was one of Brysons better played episodes. His short game is pretty damn good

Whether he shot that or not, I can't believe a 70 won.

I went and looked for his actual score at the American Century in 2006

He wad 52 over par for 3 rounds

So he averaged an 89

And this was clearly a Net championship. Which I’ve never once heard Club championships going by Net Score versus just raw gross. That’s pitiful to do that for a club championship

it says his score was 70, assuming hes not competing from the back tees in the championship flight, which hes not, the 70 would be his score with his handicap subtracted in every club championship ive ever seen

My club plays to scratch.

then they have a championship flight and enough players to have multiple flight with similar handicaps, which is pretty much the same thing as using handicap. or i guess some places do like the super senior champ from the up tees and the winner is scratch. trumps probably capable of that at most clubs vs 80 year olds

I have honestly never heard of a club championship, rather regular or senior, using Net score like this one
