I called into Mascona for something over ten years ago. He misunderstood what I was telling him, went off on me, and wouldn't STFU long enough for me to get another word in.

a guy I worked with called in to Cowherd's show on ESPN back around the time of the Nick Saban "coonass" comment that got a lot of Uproar.

He ended sounding like the biggest dumbass to ever call the show.
we heckled him mercilessly for it for years afterwards.

Myself and some buddies spent one NHL playoff season trolling hockey post game shows. Probably back in 2010 or so. We have some stuff recorded and up on youtube that ranges from cringey to genuinely funny. I made a Flyer post game host go ballistic once.

No, I did not have sex back in college.

long time ago, when sports radio stations were a new thing.

would give tc martin horse racing winners, scotty ferrell would give a shout out, and a shot, and arnie spannerd(?), big mets guy, i would give him shite all the time about his mets, especially dwight gooden and strawberry.

we would mess with local guys

We were in our late teens then.

Called into a radio show once as Hugh Jorgan. Got banned.

Did you ask the host if his refrigerator was running and he better go catch it? How did that get you banned

I used to call into the Tim Fletcher show a lot, if you remember that one. One day he was complaining about his ceiling fan not working, so when I called in I said "that's what happens when you make Uncle Rico videos inside"

A couple callers later was his wife going off on him that she'd told him to quit throwing the football in the house

LOL ! I've done that a few times. Buddy D would say, "Hap is no longer with us". Then I'd go, "My bad, anyway, Hap..."

I used to call into The Pete Rose Show back in the day when I lived in S Florida. It was broadcasted from Crocs in Boca Raton, that was owned by Lefty Rosenthal. Lots of discussion about horses, especially during Kentucky Derby week. Hank Golberg was on there too.
