Why the frick would you make it a 3 point game?

If you’re going to take a safety you might as well try to punt. If he snaps it over the punter’s head again then you’ll probably take a safety anyways.

Because none of us have ever seen a team intentionally take a safety to make it a 3-Point game instead of a 5-Point game with 1:45 left.
